Aches and pains are a normal part of life. However, they can prevent you from carrying out your usual day-to-day activities and can make you feel worried and frustrated.

The good news is that most of the conditions that cause these aches and pains can be easily treated by you, at home.

You can now visit the Worcestershire physiotherapy self-help website at www.hacw.nhs.uk/movetoimprove.

  • Social Prescriber/Lifestyle Advisor

Many things affect your health and wellbeing. GPs tell us that a lot of people visit them feeling isolated or lonely. Or they might be stressed out by work, money and housing problems. Sometimes it’s the stress of managing different long-term conditions.

That’s where social prescribing comes in. It starts with a conversation. It might be the conversation you’ve just had with your doctor. Or with another person in the practice team. You can self-refer using the referral letter here or by phoning 01905 676306 (option 4)
