Booking an appointment at Thorneloe Lodge Surgery.

Online Consultation

We offer online consultations and advice via AccuRx. This will offer advice covering a range of common conditions and how to treat them. There is the option in each section to complete a questionnaire which will be reviewed by a member of clinical staff within two working days. They may then take further action such as arranging an appointment with you, or issuing a prescription based on your symptoms. Please click the button below to get started with your Online Consultation.

“Our online consultation service-Patient Triage is available in the NHS app. This is a great way for you to contact us for non-urgent medical or admin requests. It is very simple to fill out so please give it a go. We think it’s easier for most people than waiting on hold to speak to a receptionist but would love to hear your feedback. If you do not have access to the internet or struggle to use a computer or smartphone you can call reception instead. You can access the form by logging into your NHS app and selecting Appointments.”

Cancellations.

Please always let us know if you don’t wish to take up your appointment. Even if it is at the last minute, we can always fill it. We understand that you may now feel better or something else has cropped up and we are happy to rearrange… But please tell us!

You can cancel by calling 01905 726444.

Please note that we do record all incidences of not turning up, and we will be in touch if you miss an appointment.

If you miss appointments more than once or twice, we will invite you to a meeting with our Practice Manager. We do reserve the right to ask you to leave the practice list if you won’t help us to help you by keeping to your appointments - as missed appointments cost the NHS money, and make it harder for the rest of our local community to access appointments with us.
