At Thorneloe Lodge Surgery we place very great importance on the issue of Safeguarding. This refers to protecting people’s health, wellbeing and human rights and enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect.

In particular, we place a strong focus on safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults.

Dr Julie Butler is the Safeguarding Lead for the Practice. All Clinicians and administrative staff at the Practice receive annual Safeguarding Training.

If patients or their relatives have any Safeguarding concerns, they should contact the Practice Manager or Safeguarding Lead for further advice.

Below are some useful links and resources. If you have ANY concerns about the safety of a child or vulnerable adult please speak to someone – you could be the one person to make a huge difference.
